Boulder Flatirons Shadow Play
This is a colored pencil drawing originally done on Rising Museum board. It is a view of the Boulder Colorado Flatirons looking to the south. You can see the First Flatiron on the right and then going left of it is the Second Flatiron followed by the Third Flatiron. It was drawn from a photograph I took in the late afternoon one summer. I had always loved the striking Flatirons rock features which create interesting shadows through the day.
