While in Winter Harbor in late winter, I found a great spot on a rocky beach across from Prospect Harbor Lighthouse and the United States Navy satellite operations station. I painted this gorgeous scene on a wet and windy morning before an approaching Nor'easter lashed the coast of Maine that night with wind, rain and sleet.
