I've been looking at Edward Hopper's lonely landscapes and isolated people. He is a master in capturing isolation. But, what I feel is not loneliness. It's this disquieting quietness. Unlike Hopper's time, now we are desperately trying to connect to others via internet. Yet, we feel it every day that the world is unsettling even in the familiar surrounding of our homes.
