And They All Said His Name was Bill

Framed original oil on canvas, 2020

Abstraction of a group of people. "And They All Said His Name was Bill" is a lively, textural abstract. To me, Bill is the central figure with the burnt sienna face, and he's a kindly volunteer school crossing guard surrounded by kids with bookbags and their parents. These wonderful volunteers who give their time are rarely known by name or given the thanks they are due. So "thanks" Bill.

This painting is framed in a black wood composite floater frame measuring 25 3/4 in. h. x 19 3/4 in. w. x 1 1/4 in. d., and it is wired for hanging.
