Art has always been a very important part of my life. When we were kids my sister and I were given a John Gnagy art kit, where together we learned about drawing in perspective and working with charcoal. Later I took lessons on weekends and over summers to compile a portfolio that gained me admission to the Tyler School of Art of Temple University in Philadelphia. After graduating magna cum laude with a BFA degree and receiving The Art Director's Club of Philadelphia's Gold Medal for my senior portfolio, I’ve been freelancing ever since, specializing in product design concept art for the collectables industry as well as illustration. While working in the corporate world I continued to pursue my artistic passion by painting independent works in my home studio. Deciding later to concentrate entirely on my fine art, I started painting full time in 2007.
