Tom LaFleur
My objective as an artist is primarily to represent landscape scenes that I enjoy in a way that emphasizes the beauty that I see. My career as an artist began in earnest upon retirement in 2005. Education: During my career, I took classes offered by the Montgomery County Maryland Schools Adult Education program. These included Pastel Drawing, Watercolor painting, Acrylics and Chinese Ink painting. Since retirement I have attended several watercolor classes and a portrait workshop, at Montgomery College I completed Figure Drawing and Pastel Painting. I have also attended various workshops at Plaza Art Center. After moving to Arizona I took an oil painting class at the Scottsdale Art School.
