My name is Teri Cajero. I am from Jemez Pueblo, New Mexico. I am the 6th generation of potters in my family. I have been making pottery since I was 4 years old, but I didn't start selling until I was 8 years old. That's when I was winning awards in Artshows I attended with my parents. As I got older I wanted to continue with my art. I was passionate about my work very proud of myself and how far I've become as an Artist. There isn't a lot of people my age in my Pueblo who are making pottery. I am very fortunate to be able to pass this down to my children. I love what I do for a living. It's so rewarding knowing that how much a difference I can make in someone's life with my art.
