Phyllis Thomas is a former art educator and lived in Kenya for nearly twenty years. That journey enriched her life and still influences the colors and textures of her work. Currently she is painting in acrylic and exhibits locally, nationally and internationally. Thomas' art-making is not only about the art; it's the people she meets along the way while organizing community art events and teaching workshops. She is passionate about helping artists of the next generation find their creative calling.
