Yvonne Bartholomew-Thomas
I am a caregiver for my husband who had a severe stroke in 2007 and left him permanently disabled. My hometown is in west Tennessee (Humboldt) but I have lived in middle Tennessee and now reside in East Tennessee close to the GSMNP and Cades Cove. I have been an artist since childhood beginning with coloring books and crayons. I moved on to child art classes and finally college. Since then I have entered many shows, won dozens of awards including best of shows and purchase awards. Several solo art shows were written up in various newspapers and a couple of magazines. My art has been displayed in several local states and distant cities including Chicago and New York City. I prefer oil paint but also dabble in pastels, charcoal, watercolor.
