The rich history and culture of the indigenous people of North America, including their beliefs, rituals, traditions, and ceremonies are depicted here in my pastel painting “Imagine Their Stories.” My pastel has been created on toned archival paper measuring 18x22 and has been framed to 22x28 overall. In this painting I have included a shield, moccasins, rattle, tomahawk, feathers, and antler pipe, and sash belt, all of which hold significant symbolism to the indigenous peoples.
