Steve Skipper

Majesty

Only One Nigerian Artist was commissioned to do a sculpture of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. In 1958 Artist Ben Enwonwu was formally commissioned to do a stunning sculpture of Her Majesty, which became a part of the Royal Collection.

Years later in 2024, Artist Steve R. Skipper was formally commissioned by Buckingham Palace to do an Original Painting featuring Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This makes the first time in history that an African American Artist has received this esteemed honor. The scene of the Painting takes place as Her Majesty and Princess Anne are celebrating the win of her Horse “Estimate” in the 2013 Royal Ascot Race in London.

Skipper has meticulously painted in extremely fine detail and unprecedented realism honoring the memory of one of the most beloved icons in the world. The Painting is now a part of the Royal Collection. Accepted personally by the British Consulate General. Now Skipper has offered a strict Limited Edition of the Original Painting for the public to allow this epic honor and the Royal Blessing of Queen Elizabeth II to be shared and live in our hearts forever more.

All prices include shipping within the Continental United States.
