I love the juxtaposition of old stone buildings and new steel skyscrapers situated in the midst of acres of tranquil woodlands, lawn, and water. Central Park is a respite from the hectic pace of Manhattan. Palette knife painting directly on the canvas, in combination with a brush, because combining heavy texture that only a knife can create with applied brush transparent paint gives my work a greater feeling of depth and creates an amazing visual effect.
Painted on 3/4'' thick gallery wrapped canvas using highest quality artist oils. Painting continues around the sides making framing optional. This painting would make a great addition to any art collection.
