These interesting shingles were found on the Beebee House located in the old mining town of Independence near Victor, Colorado. The Beebee house was the home of Alfred H. Beebee who was the Vice President of the Golden Cycle Mining Operations in Victor, Colorado. Today this house is one of the few buildings remaining in Independence. The weathered siding and tin sheets on the windows prevail the test of time so that future generations may see this unique but fascinating piece of mining history.
