This pot is hand built using micaceous clay that I mined from the Northern part of New Mexico. It is fired outdoors in a traditional manner that turns the clay black. I fabricated the sterling silver lid using tufa and cuttlefish bone.

The Christmas Star is symbolic to many faiths in our many religions, but there is only one Earth. The seed pot represents the nighttime Earth and the Christmas Star is shining upon us.
