Airplane Turn

26"X28"
Acrylic Painting

I wanted to reproduce a moment of clarity, especially the exaggerated crystalline surface one particular morning. The original has thick multicolor glitter on the slope below the skier.

I remember blinding brilliance of the surface hoar, and the "sizzlely" sound on the snow as we descended, the silence between those long distance airplane turns, landing with a woof of sizzleliness. Followed by woots of celebration of a mind blowing powder run.
