This painting was done in oils on a wooden palette. I thought the idea of squeezing out oil paints on a palette and pulling them into the artwork would make an interesting-looking wall hanging. A field of bluebonnets, the state flower of Texas, is an awesome sight every spring in the hill country of this great state. This would make a great companion piece with "Spring's Yellow Palette." I would sell the two together for $1200.
