Waterfall

An off-loom weaving wall hanging using yarn, branches, leather, beads and bells. The branches are from my yard and the beads from my collection. NOTE: The dimensions do not include the hanging cord. Use of the hanging cord is optional. One can always place a small nail on each side under the top branch. The width of the weaving portion is 6". Many years ago I made a back-pack trip in Northern New Mexico to Truchas Peak. Along the way the trail followed a small river up into the mountains. The lush green forest and cascading waterfalls were worth all of the hard work that back-packing entails. These piece is a celebration of the beauty of the natural world.
