Jane Word Taylor Art

Kaimu Flow 1990

A 1990 watercolor by Jane Taylor. I watched the lava move over the Kaimu area, noting the sad demise of stately old palm trees and homes, and marveling at the people exploring the dangerous edges of the flows. The watercolor is a small line and wash painting made on location.

Note about prints: this heavily textured Fabriano watercolor paper will not look good on canvas. I suggest choosing a smooth satin or matte paper so as not to have conflicting textures.
