Transform

I have been painting as a form of prayer for a few years now and an interesting pattern of symbolism is beginning to dominate my work. The 143 is always a reminder of God's eternal and perfect love. The triangles and series of threes always represent the Holy Trinity, as well as the sacred geometry for the divine masculine and feminine, depending on its direction. And in light of all the recent upheavals, I am feeling pulled to respond with a stronger will toward unconditional Love, compassion and empathy. Like the dragonfly, we have to be ready to transform with grace and let light shine off of and through us. In a nod to holism, the circles in my work are also almost always presented in threes; a beginning, middle and end to the legacy of humanity's role in Creation and a further call to Union.
I don't have the answers to all the problems of the world, but I do know who to call on for guidance and comfort when fear tries to take over. I have to be able to trust that no matter what happens, there are better times ahead. And we are Divinely protected at all times.
