Remembrance

In our lives we get so caught up in the future and the novel moments, we often forget to look back at the prequels of our lives, where we came from, what battles were fought, and what struggles overcome to allow us the chance at this life that we possess. In this picture (taken from a photo with lighting and shading altered), I have tried to convey a noble forgotten story coming forth from darkness, never to be lost in the shades of time.
