Bright Gladiolus
I love this Bold, Bright, and Beautiful Gladiolus on Arches Watercolor paper in watercolor.
Fun Facts:
• Looking a lot like a sword, the gladiolus is know as a symbol
of strength.
• Gladiolus are one of the top 10 best selling flowers.
• These wonderful stem flowers are in the family of the Iris.
• They come in an extensive array of colors of the rainbow.
• No need to fuss over these tubers as they are very easy to
grow.
These were the “Easy growing stem flowers” for me as a new home owner. I loved the flowers and the ease of planting and care. I loved adding these to a tall sturdy vase and enjoying them for days. There are more blooms per stem than an Iris but there isn’t as strong a fragrance. I think the greatest feature about this flower is the multitude of combinations this flower comes in. So many variables, variegations, and combinations. Only God could come up with this array!
